These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Love and Honey Bee Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of HoneyTrackr (the “Service”), including the iOS app, the Android app, and the web app at app.honeytrackr.com.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

HoneyTrackr is a software tool for beekeepers to record and manage information about their apiaries, hives, inspections, mite counts, treatments, feedings, harvests, and related activity. The Service is provided on an as-is basis to support your beekeeping practice — it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified beekeeping mentor, your local beekeeping association, your state apiarist, or a veterinarian.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use HoneyTrackr. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You can invite other people to share access to your apiary. When you do, those people see your beekeeping data; you remain responsible for managing who has access from Settings.

4. Subscriptions and billing

HoneyTrackr offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features. The available tiers and pricing are shown in the app at the time of purchase.

Refunds are governed by the platform you purchased through. We cannot directly refund Apple or Google purchases — those must be requested through Apple or Google support.

If a paid subscription lapses, your data remains intact but paid features become unavailable until the subscription is renewed.

5. AI features and disclaimer

HoneyTrackr offers optional AI-powered features (pre-inspection briefings, frame photo analysis, apiary insights) that you can enable or disable at any time. These features use third-party large language models and computer vision systems and are provided as a helper, not a definitive source.

AI output is not professional advice. AI suggestions about disease identification, queen health, treatment selection, or any other beekeeping decision are starting points for your own judgment — not substitutes for it. AI systems can be wrong or incomplete. For high-stakes decisions, always confirm with a qualified beekeeping mentor, your local club, your state apiarist, or a veterinarian.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI output. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on AI features.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload to HoneyTrackr — your hive records, inspection notes, photos, and all derived data. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store and process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

We will never sell your content. We will never use your content to train AI models that we do not own and operate.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone in the app. Deletion permanently removes your data and cannot be reversed. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is removed and the timeline.

We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. We will give you reasonable notice when we can.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep HoneyTrackr available, but the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may need to take it offline for maintenance, updates, or to respond to an incident. We don’t guarantee a specific uptime.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE PARTICULAR OUTCOMES IN YOUR BEEKEEPING PRACTICE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LOVE AND HONEY BEE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF COLONIES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
